The Information Technology A.O.S. Degree Program provides training in network administration, computer repair, and end user support. Students will develop skills that can be applicable to a variety of situations and allow for growth and specialization within their chosen field.
CONCENTRATION IN CODING AND SCRIPTING
In the Coding and Scripting concentration, students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of programming and computer languages. Starting with the basics of computer programming elements, operators, and expressions, by the end of the program, students could be well-equipped with the knowledge to interpret algorithms and how to compare various scripting and programming languages. The concentration courses include:
- Internet and Web Page Design
- Relational Databases
- Python Programming I, II, and II
- Javascript
CONCENTRATION IN NETWORKING
The concentration in Networking is designed to provide our students with an understanding of the foundations of modern networking technology. In your network administrator courses, you could have the opportunity to develop the technical skills needed to deploy and manage computer networks. Concentration courses include:
- Networking I and II
- Network Computer Security
- Network Server Management
- Network Infrastructure
